i believe webgl or web3d will be the next thing after flash 2d games, i have started seen good quality games like "inter stellar marine" though it was created with uniy3d but the quality and graphics are ahead for time for browser games, i can imagine this kind of games will take over browser gaming industry.
I checking out different webgl frameworks to write a game ( pool game ). Will update more results on that soon.
